Hey there.
So we met up today, at adam’s house for our first read through. and it’s always good when a team comes together for the first time, eager and hungry to get started on a project. we had cast photos, a tuning session with one of our musical consultants, shared bad jokes and read through the script. call me crazy, but i truly enjoy how performing arts brings people together.
Excited to be cast
The songs are gonna be a blast. (remember rowan, rhyming words with at least five syllables in them) there have been hints at rock tracks, while i grow nostalgic at disney songs playing in my head. i enjoy a good ballad.
And i really enjoy how the cast seems to get along real well. makes me think about how peter jackson cast viggo mortensen, not just because he could act, but also because he got along with the rest of the team. (maybe we could all go and get sock tattoos) and that’s probably the geekiest thing i’ll post in this spiel.
I’m quite over university. thank God for projects like ‘odd socks’. they definitely keep me sane.
